Learn Spanish in Mexico at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels, and enrich your experience by choosing to explore Mexican culture in depth or learn about doing business in Mexico.

Program Structure

Each program consists of a total of 2 courses, offering an academic load of 6 Tec credits (10 ECTS or 6 US Credits).

Spanish as a Second Language

The Spanish as a second language courses taught at Tec de Monterrey are designed to teach the language to non-native speakers. We offer two levels:

  • Spanish for Beginners
  • Intermediate Spanish

EH1016. Mexican Culture and Identity

In this course you will understand, identify and analyze the basic elements of culture and Mexican identities. This course does not require prior knowledge.

Spanish as a Second Language

The Spanish as a second language courses taught at Tec de Monterrey are designed to teach the language to non-native speakers. We offer two levels:

  • Spanish for Beginners
  • Advance Spanish

NI2039 - Doing Business in Mexico

This is an intermediate course in international business, which is intended for the student to solve a challenge in the internationalization of companies. 


As a learning outcome, the student will develop competencies that allow them to understand the process required to conduct business in Mexico using various forms of entry, understand the processes, and understand how cultural differences should be analyzed when doing business internationally.
