Health Insurance Policy at Tec de Monterrey

One of Tec de Monterrey’s main concerns is the health and safety of all our community; therefore, it is mandatory for all international students to be covered by an international health insurance plan that complies with at least the following requisites:

 

Concept Minimum amount (in USD)
Medical expenses in case of sickness/accident $210,000
Medical evacuation in case of sickness/accident $210,000
Repatriation of remains $50,000
Travel expenses for a companion $4,000
Civil responsibility for third-party liability $100,000
Injuries caused by the amateur practice of a high-risk sport Included
Injuries caused by a weapon in case of assault or robbery Included
Guarantee of direct payment Included

 

After admission and prior to their arrival in Mexico, you must provide proof of coverage that includes the above minimums.

Students who fail to show proper proof will be charged with an insurance provided by Tec de Monterrey.
