SIGNATURE PROGRAM
Signature Program
These are specialized project-based programs in a particular field or topic and are offered only in a few campuses. These programs are:
Internship With a Social Impact (8-16 hours/week)
Participate on research and experience projects for social purposes. Analyze and learn about the socio-cultural diversity, the socio-economic situation in Mexico and the role civil organizations and institutions play in solving problems that impact the community.
La Meta Program – A Teaching Experience for Educators (30-40 hours/week)
Engage in educating Mexican students from elementary school to high school. As part of your experience, you will prepare daily lessons, design tests, assignments and long-term teaching programs for public and private schools using a variety of teaching methods and establishing good study habits and discipline.
Community Service Project for Educators (30-35 hours/week)
Either by teaching in a classroom or by collaborating with teachers and administrators in educational projects in public and private schools, this is a program that will allow you to advance your knowledge as a teacher and to know more about the realities of the Mexican educational system.
Social Innovation at San Cristobal de las Casas
Through challenge-based learning, students will actively engage in a real, relevant and environmentally-related problem in an indigenous community.
