Puebla
Campus Puebla, located in one of the best districts of the city, opened its doors in 2003. On 25 hectares, you find 4 buildings with classrooms, offices, and the Convention Center and Technology Park. All facilities are equipped with state of the art technology. Additionally, there are two auditoriums, a cafeteria, a library, a copy shop, work and study areas, and 7 laboratories. Furthemore, we put at your disposal, a modern gymnasium with dresssing rooms, showers, lockers and ample sports fields for soccer, basketball, volleyball and tennis.

Estado de México:

Campus Estado de México sometimes known as Tec CEM, is one of the largest in the Tecnológico de Monterrey System. Offers a privileged location near all major Mexico City attractions, manufacturing clusters and sights that range from the breathtaking Teotihuacan pyramids to the amazing buildings of the nearby Reforma area. The campus engineering faculty is strongly related to the industry. CEM has services and facilities that include top-notch classrooms and a Technology Center that combines business, state-of-the-art laboratories and learning spaces.

Querétaro:
Campus Querétaro is the fourth largest campus in the country with more than 7000 students, 55% of which other states and more than 400 international students of different nationalities are welcomed every year. Queretaro is located in the heart of Mexico, just a 2-hour drive away from Mexico City. Its great location, modern infrastructure, and excellent diversity of people, food and touristic places makes the state one of the best destinations to visit. Queretaro is one of the safest, innovative, and state-of- the-art sectors in industrial production, education, and technology.


Monterrey
The main campus is located in a modern industrial and business center only 230km far from the USA border. The city, also know as "Sultana del Norte" (Lady of the North), hosts a set transnational conglomerates with 10 out of 20 of the most importan Mexican firms located en Monterrey. The Campus has been designed to create the perfect enviroment motivating the engagement with intensive academic activity and research as well as recreation, and allowing the full innovative and entrepreneurial potential to flourish.


COURSES

During the program, students will be accompained by Tec de Monterrey professors and staff, making sure they study and work in a safe enviroment and they can fully enjoy the cultural and recreational activities of the program.

1. Regional Economics
(Taught in English)

Advanced economics course focusing on the study of economics in its territorial setting, by combining relevant theoretical and empirical elements. It addresses topics related to sustainable development, such as pollution, resource depletion, productivity and consumption patterns, employment, unemployment and equity. This CAD course requires prior knowledge of economic growth and development. As a learning outcome students will understand the behavior of the economy at regional level, in particular the territorial concentration and dispersal processes, as well as the marked disparities in economic development at the subnational level and the logic that determines the localization of productive activities.


2.  Mexican Economics Seminar
(Taught in English)

Advanced course in which students integrate the theory and study methods of economic science in the scientific analysis of the Mexican economy. This course requires prior knowledge of economic theory and economic science study methods.
As a learning outcome students will conduct a scientific research project using economic theory and a topic related to the Mexican economy.
