WHAT TO DO IN

STATE OF MEXICO

The State of Mexico is an Outstanding Mixture of Colors.

Mexico is a country of complexity where you can still find the legacy of the pre-Columbian civilizations combined with the Spanish inheritance of most of the country’s citizens. The State of Mexico is one of the neighboring states that make up Mexico City. Its neighborhoods have grown so much than now you can say they are already part of Mexico City. Therefore the State of Mexico offers the opportunity to live near of one of the largest cities in the world, but with fewer complications.

Here you can find a place which offers the benefits of good weather, a low cost of living and the friendliness of the Mexiquenses (people from the State of Mexico).

WHERE TO LIVE

Interact with students from around the world.

Approximately 20% of the students at Campus Estado de México come from other cities and countries. There are, of course, a number of rental options (houses and apartments) around the campus, which makes it easy to find places to live.

Living off campus is an attractive prospect for those with a limited budget, depending on the facilities available, the distance to campus and the number of people sharing.

You can ask for support directly from our contacts at the International Programs Office. Send us an e-mail or phone us.

Mexico is privileged in terms of its culture

We have a range of different cultures throughout Mexico, each one with its own typical cuisine, outfits, customs, traditions and even lifestyles. You shouldn’t miss out on an opportunity to visit Mexico’s beaches and ‘magical towns’, not to mention experience the warmth of its people.
